My fellow Mefites, I implore you. Don't even think about clicking the more inside if you have anything pressing to do. [previously]

Black Delta Religion

The Ballad of Frankie Silver

Les Blues de Balfa

Carnival Train

All part of what I can only say is an epic collection of Americana documentaries, at Folkstreams.

I am always glad to be be led back to this site. Sarah Gunning is a local hero, if I may be so bold as to recommend for your other spare moments.

If I am already getting sucked in at the A's, well, I have to turn the computer off, cause sleep is pressing. Thanks.

I am a Folkstreams junkie from way way back and indeed, have lost many a workday to "just let me see what they have about...." Here are my previously, previously, previously and previously for some other picks. Land Where the Blues Began is also not to be missed. Such a treasure trove, so well cared for, and people add to it all the time.
