The strange case of the death of IAEA inspector Pierre Noir.

All three posts are from the always-excellent Arms Control Wonk blog. [previously]

That's extremely thin. It's basically "I have no reason to suspect there's anything dodgy here, but maybe there's something dodgy going on that I just don't know about."

You could write all of this as a newspaper headline: "Was Pierre Noir Killed in a Cover-Up over Taiwan's Secret Weapons Programme?"... at which point Betteridge's Law would come into play.

"maybe there's something dodgy going on that I just don't know about."

If its good enough for arms inspectors and a case for attacking other nations its good enough for arguing why God and space aliens exist.

Sounds like a case for his brother, Guy.

I get the feeling you didn't look at all three posts. He concludes even before he's several paragraphs into the second one that this was almost certainly just an accident. The note is weird, but that doesn't sway the author, who still thinks it was an accident.

Mysterious deaths are perfectly acceptable for IAEA-affiliated weapons inspectors. Consider the 2009 death of Timothy Hampton, or (from the same link) the sad demise of an unnamed American who died that same year at the IAEA 'in strikingly similar circumstances, his body being found at the bottom of a stairwell'.
