Blade Runner - The Film Noir cut

Blade Runner redone as a sixty seconds long 1940ties film noir, created by Philip Askins. Winner of the "Done in sixty seconds" 2013 Empire Film Awards.
I like the visuals, but the voiceover was distracting - the accent was trying too hard. Nice re-imagining, tho.

Let me guess, the 61-second version we see an origami unicorn.

The soundtrack was a nice touch.

What? No "Rick's Cafe?" A missed opportunity.
Or how about this: Deckard (played by Charlton Heston) is given an assignment to hunt down a band of illegal Mexican immigrants, and by the end has come to suspect that he himself was an illegal Mexican immigrant ALL ALONG.
-"She won't live, but then again, what does it matter what you say about people?"
-"Like tears in rain, your future's all used up."
&c. &c.

Yeah, this is about as unimaginative as reimagining Indiana Jones as a 1930s serial. I'll congratulate the artwork aspect, but conceptually it's pretty meh.

Liked the animation, but not the voiceover.
Agree with Dhartung that this doesn't really have a reason to exist, but oh well.

The Hunt for Tony Blair is a much better implementation of the 'Story retold as noir' trope.

It was already 1940s film noir.

Next we need Prometheus redone as an Ancient Aliens episode.

We need Prometheus redone as a decent film that makes some kind of sense.

We've made a film noir totally look like it was a film noir!
