I'm a little sick of internet Game of Thrones humor, so I was prepared to hate these, but they were actually really good. The sigils for Twitter and Netflix were both really good, and I liked the riffs on actual house words like "We Do Not Source" and "Ours is the Furry."

Well today I learned that sigil has a broader definition than I have been using. I have always pictured the plate of beans as pinto beans, as in a dish of baked beans or pork and beans or beans and wieners. Beans cooked as a saucy main dish by Edith Bunker or Mrs. Obama.

Those of you who haven't heard of Seamless, where do you live? Glancing at their coverage areas, it appears to cover mostly New York and some major cities around the country, but here in NYC it's such a staple of daily life for me and everyone I know/work with that it's hard to imagine it being totally unknown. It seems like no one here actually calls in restaurant orders any more.

Huh. It's in Austin, apparently, but only delivers from two restaurants to me, one I've never heard of. Dine on Demand is the service I use. (When I can stand to spend the money - the surcharges really add up, and I'm very lazy but not very wealthy.)

I live outside of Boston, so I doubt Seamless would do me any good. I haven't heard of anyone using it, either, but I left the city when I left college. Maybe the people I used to know there use it all the time. I don't know.

I've seen Seamless mentioned once, somewhere. Campusfood covered me pretty well the occasional times when I've wanted to order in. Since I last used it, it's become Grubhub though. Given what that says about my usage habits, I'm probably not the target market.
