Pretty amazing but it's a circus stunt, not dance. Great ballet has balance and moments of quiet or a freeze but this has a spotter and is one stunt after another.

Women dancing En Pointe, does seem stunty at times with so so choreography but when it really works artistically, the movement is integral to the theme and and a contributing element to the visual whole, not stop, look how strong and amazing I am.

I much prefer the Red Detachment of Women. Course, I'm a dirty commie, so, no surprise.

Everyone knows you can't get to the jaw dropping/extreme balance stuff without showing a natural talent for acrobatics as a toddler and being given up by your rural farm family for a pittance to a state-run acrobatics training school that will dump you at puberty into a life as a prostitute to low level Party officials!
