Congress is legislating free speech on the internet again. Passed shortly after the Communications Decency Act was thrown out by the Supreme Court, the Child Online Protection Act isn't as broad as the CDA but does it still go too far in an effort to protect children? Shouldn't parents be responsible for their own children?

Simple solution: throw the bums out.

Oh wait, I forgot that you'll never bring yourself to vote outside the two-party system. Nevermind, continue with the useless complaining.

A government that controls the people is a happy government.

And it doesn't matter how many parties there are -- the only people who try to be in goverment are those who have desires to control others anyway.

Gannett (you know, USA Today and local newspaper owners) tries to force their papers' websites to include COPPA warnings anytime any user input might happen, like contests and promos with an ugly warning about having to be over 13. The pages are ugly aesthetically, and kind of pointless since you can just lie and say you're older with no checking of any kind.

eas98, by your logic, people who want to fix government to get it out of their lives simply don't exist because, in your reality, those people would never run for office. Oh, but they do.
