Gannett (you know, USA Today and local newspaper owners) tries to force their papers' websites to include COPPA warnings anytime any user input might happen, like contests and promos with an ugly warning about having to be over 13. The pages are ugly aesthetically, and kind of pointless since you can just lie and say you're older with no checking of any kind. posted by panopticon at 7:50 AM on November 29, 2001
eas98, by your logic, people who want to fix government to get it out of their lives simply don't exist because, in your reality, those people would never run for office. Oh, but they do. posted by fleener at 8:13 AM on November 29, 2001
