English singer-songwriter Keaton Henson's video for Small Hands, directed by Joseph Mann.

(Not safe for workplaces where you can't bawl your eyes out over woodland creature puppets.)

I have a huge weakness for puppets. I collect them and dream of one days actually producing videos with them. I'm not ready yet, but someday. I find puppetry to be a pretty powerful medium and a testament to our ability to suspend disbelief. That we can get ourselves to care for a bit of cloth and some foam...the song plays into it as well, but even muted I could feel the animals' pain.

Again, wonderful. Maybe they can make a happy video and happy song next time. You know, for kids.

If you can't/don't believe in something bigger as you watch this ~ it will break your heart. Going to share with friends that think I'm a little over the top in my empathy for mere "animals".

This is ... beautifully, beautifully done. Reminded me of dear Jim Henson & what his puppets could emote in us
