This is really superb. Apart from everything else, it is wonderfully written, and the writing is usually the poorest part of these efforts.

And much as I love the real things, those rings of Saturn lwould portend a better universe. Or one designed by Kincaid. Or possibly both, in a Mirror, Mirror sorta way. But definitely one with more strudel.
