This is awesome. I wish I had that much self-awareness and such a strong sense of personal style as these kids do, and I'm twice their age.

OK, another kid band, everyone’s kids have a band. I don’t care about kid bands.
But this is pretty freakin’ great. It’s going to be really interesting to see what they do.
My only fear is that one day they will get a singer and that person will ruin their lives. That’s what they do.

My favorite local band was recently ruined by a singer. Although maybe not in quite the sense that you mean.

Though not likely the case here on the blue, from what I've seen in other sites where this stuff is posted, it's not so much the age as it is the race.
"Like, OMG, black kids playing thrash? So amazing!."
It's that sort of sheltered, not racist, but totally oblivious worldview that I'd see in my small hometown where there was 1 all black family, and I was the only mixed race family. Never really experienced prejudice or racism, but I couldn't help shake my head at the looks we'd get occasionally, like...
"Oh wow. Black people like popsicles, too. Interesting."
Plenty of African Americans and minorities like heavy metal. Problem is (using Buffalo as an example) showplace is on that side of town, and Lux is around the corner. The faces on the billboards for WBLK look like my family, while the EDGE has some weird looking white guys with chain wallets. Thanks to media ownership and advertising experts, we're only exposed to the music they think we like, and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
(And, if you're going to use examples of black people in the heavy metal scene, please stop mentioning King's X. They suck.)
