dammit, this is brilliant. and it begs the question, why hasn't punk been combined with soul diva singing. works great. softens the punk edges a bit, and gives club pop schlock a little street cred.

To be fair I think people did try to do it in the 80s, just not very well. Certainly nothing like as well as this. I think an actual band that played like this would take the world by storm.
