"I quickly realised that none of the fashion sites I looked at ever featured a turbaned Sikh man," he says. "I wanted to give the turbaned Sikh man a fair representation within the fashion world, and also show the blend of British and Sikh identities together." Pardeep Singh Bahra of street fashion blog Singh Street Style, profiled in the Guardian.

Oh, my. If I could rock shorts like this as hard as Jus Reign does, I would be a happy man.

Ugh, he didn't cut the threads from the label on the sleeve on that jacket. Also, jacket and shorts, no.

Colors are good, though.

Stylish. But did I miss the memo where guys now have to wear their trouser cuffs rolled up?

I'm still not sold on the jacket and shorts combo anywhere outside the Bahamas.

I dunno, the colors and the confidence make it work in my book.

Jacket and shorts, yes. Maybe it's a turban thing, but... yes.

Anyone want to comment on the neatly trimmed beards of some of the folks here? I thought the whole point of kesh was not to trim or cut any hair?

These are really cool. Nice find!

I also think that Madhu Singh looks like he would be fun to hang out with.

Speculating wildly - maybe one of those cultural membership v. religious observation things?

I'm so glad I don't have to wear a beard and turban today. It's hot.

Sweetkid, I think that your July 8 friend is the selfsame Pardeep Singh Bahra who founded the site.

I am jealous of their style, especially their shoes. If I had fab shoes like those, I'd roll up my trouser cuffs too!

Every once in a while I'll spot Waris Ahluwalia walking around my neighborhood looking like the coolest guy in New York City.

Oh. Oh, dear.

*fans self*

I never realized the word 'dapper' meant hot.

I certainly don't mean to objectify these gentlemen. But just as a well groomed and finely turned out throughbred race horse is beautiful to look at ... these dudes are tres élégant.

One of the younger guys helping out with my company's CRM conversion is Sikh, and he's got some mad style that isn't too far off from the guys in the blog. But I'm really not looking forward to when the hipsters start appropriating faux-turbans (they already have beards) for themselves.

I'm enjoying how there's a distinct split between the loose-jeans and verytight-jeans aesthetics here.

I didn't know I was a fan of bermuda shorts and a blazer until I saw these photos, but YES.

It's like the Don Johnson 80s look taken to beautiful extremes...

Things I learned from the Sikh folks in my life
(On Poetry) "Never compare an impermanent thing to a permanent one."
(On Love) "That woman's going to get you in trouble."
(On Music) "If you're going to carry that thing around, learn to play it."

THERE'S A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE HERE, PEOPLE. PUT ON SOME CLOTHES.

Where do I find these sort of dress shoes some of them are wearing? And without socks, no less!

The shoes that I'm seeing there are mainly either tan/light brown derbys or blue suede shoes. I can't tell if the derbys are being worn without socks or with very short socks (what I suspect is more likely).

Loving those brown lace ups in the Short socks link of brokkr's. I've got the near equivalent in black that are reserved specifically for special events.
