Trinity College beats the University of Queensland by filming the most anticlimactic pitch drop ever. The pitch drop experiment in Dublin started only in 1944. The Australian experiment started in 1927 but the last drop (in 2000) was not captured on video because "the high-tech webcam's digital memory suffered a bout of amnesia at the crucial moment". The Australians later published a paper and won the IgNobel Prize for Physics in 2005 [previously].

I'm staring intently at this experiment, waiting for the EXACT moment the red box appears.

But first I think I'll go to the other room for a moment to get a cup of tea. What could possibly happen while I'm gone?

I'm happy to see more on this, but we've got this post over here already.
