Zed's dead. It's a chopper, baby. I remember kids in the neighborhood making custom bikes. The choppers weren't the easiest to handle or most practical but they looked hella cool. Now they're selling for $2500US. Check out the showroom and the photo video gallery.

one a scale of one to stupid-thing-to-spend-lotsa-money-on, I'd give impractically designed pedal bikes a 19.

Maybe a "Chopper" means something different to Americans, but to all British kids, the Raleigh Chopper was the bike to have in the 70s. It's as cliched as the Space Hopper in nostalgia terms.

I was one of those kids. You would be an idiot to pay that much for a bike. Plus, why not get a brand new Schwinn Krate, or Sting-Ray, or others?

Sawks; Here is the complete line of Dyno Kruisers. Man, I sure did want that Von Dutch edition a few years back... smooth.

i ride a deuce, except its an older black model as opposed to the cherry red one on the site

most rewarding experience: cruising along the beach past mulleted folk on mountain bikes, who all have this "damn, why didn't i get me one o' dem!" facial expression :)

and yeah, when i was a kid we welded two bmx's together to make a 'slalom tandem', good times
