Scottish acto Peter Carpadi The next Doctor as been announced as Scottish actor Peter Capaldi, possibly best known for his role as the cynical (NSFW), foul mouth (NSFW), not particularly overall nice person Malcom Tucker frrom Uk satirical political show In The Thick Of It. Whilst disappointing for fans calling for a woman Doctor, at least there is the possibility of loads more swearing.

They really upset the status quo with this choice. It's a brand new day for white men in entertainment. I'm sure he will be great, whatever.
