The Smiths Poster Exhibition is at BarcelonaNQ in Manchester until August 31, 2013. It features art from the personal collection of obsessive Smiths fan Marc Capella. The Guardian has a slideshow of some of the more famous pieces.

Man, I love those German vinyl promos of The Smiths over at the 'art' link.

That 'art' link is amazing. God bless obsessive fans.

Man, I love those German vinyl promos of The Smiths over at the 'art' link.

I was a pretty heavy eBay user 1997-99, and Smiths' colored vinyl was the reason why. I got burned twice, then never went back... and then I had an apartment fire and lost them all. :'-(

(However, that German tie-dyed stuff is atrocious!)

In most cases, "obsessive Smiths fan" is redundant.

If a ten ton bus

The Smiths & Jo Slee did the best album and single covers.

I also loved the run-out groove messages on the vinyl
