Christina Bianco's divas are at it again...

A song that many people love and connect with, at least, at every karaoke night ever held. Christina Bianco's impressions of a variety of divas singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" are pretty much spot on.

She has all those voices and no one will ever even lend me one.

Recent additions to my list of things I will never be able to do no matter what:
1) Sign spinning.
2) This.

Wow. What a fantastic mimic she is. I cannot even being to imagine how much work went into making that such a seamless performance. Bravo.

I think her Liza Minellie was my fav though.

Had CNN on for background, and just before I clicked to the blue, Total Eclipse was used for some wretched food commercial.

I thought her Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion were fantastic but the Adele sounded more like Amy Winehouse.

These are so well done I can only listen as long as I can to the originals!

This is fantastic.

side note, best thing pop-up video ever told me was that the original singer of this song had to be calmed down after shouting "Pervert! Pervert!" at the director once she saw all those shirtless angel boys.

Worth is for the really funny, and spot on, version of Zooey Deschanel alone!

And just in case you really have something for this song, here's the "literal version"

Before I watch these, I just need to mention here that I reread the "replace heart with butt" thread two days ago.

Aaaahahah, the Liza is so brilliant.

She needs to be the next guest judge on RPDR.

The literal version is well worth an extended look also. I think I might know the words to that one better than the original.

I was hoping for some Kate Bush.

And Stevie Nicks! Instead of wrapping back to Adele.

Great find.

I think if you are doing divas, Mariah Carey needs to be in there somewhere, but perhaps Christina Bianco cannot bring herself to sing all those pointless fluttering arpeggios.

Please be respectful- some of those fluttering arpeggios are members of this site.

And I know I'm not the only person who needs their Hurra Torpedo fix now.

...Is there a disaster involving Mariah that I don't know about?

I can't wait to watch this properly -- this is my favorite song to do at karaoke.

No Mariah, no Beyonce, no Aretha, no etc. I think, maybe out of concern for taste, she made a decision not to lampoon any divas of color in this whole bit. Just guessing.

I think it might be hard to imitate Beyonce, where someone like Celine or Barbra or Norah Jones has more distinctive qualities or stylistic flourishes to grasp onto. Her Adele missed the boat for that reason I think.

I've always liked that song, mostly because my wife is so into it I think, and that was pretty well done. The literal version linked above is awesome too. I'll have to show both to her when I get home but I'm sure she'll just roll her (bright) eyes like she does at everything else I think is funny.

I thought this too--or perhaps she felt she couldn't do them justice. Although at first I misread "Patti LuPone" as "Patti LaBelle" and was thinking she was making some odd choices...which she did eventually, but in a different (still enjoyable) way from what I assumed.

Oh man, I love Bianco. The vids of her doing this same trick with Tomorrow and Firework are both worth it too. I'm on my phone or I'd link them.
