I'm playing my own version of Press Your Luck: no whammies but plenty of Miley Cyrus's increasingly disconcerting plastic-clad booty.

You know, I like anime, but that is a lot of anime pics showing up.

I'm getting a lot of anime and food, with a sprinkling of cats.

I feel like I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the flashing of all your twitter images makes me want to run out into the wild, or wherever...

I was going to make one of these for metafilter but then it would just be a real-time stream of text which is really just metafilter.

I found the ratio of Japan to Food unexpectedly high.

Wow, very interesting. Feels like Ozymandias monitoring TV broadcasts in Watchmen so that he could see the currents of popular culture, except actually plausible.

That is a lot of butts.

You would think that would be a good thing, but not so much, as it turns out.

I looked at the title and initially thought it was "Pooped At," and thought, "Oh, no."

This...isn't much better.

Whatever Cloud 9 is, it sure is popular.

I remember this (also possibly extremely NSFW) from LiveJournal. Glad to see the tradition continues.

Tempted to tweet a picture of something strange just to see if it shows up.

I watched a show flyer show up and almost immediately take up a large amount of pictures at one point. Then it quickly faded off the screen in favor of the rest of the noise.

It's kinda neat to watch.

The MTV Awards seem to have temporarily crowded out all the porn on .gif hell.

There's also a Hacker News post, with some discussion about why there's a lot of anime.

Yeah, On Popped At, I'm getting mostly anime, selfies, spam (quite a lot of spam), pop stars (mostly Asian), butts, a few pets, dicks (including one dipped in nutella), other porn, food and macros. It's surprisingly very, very same-y. I wonder in there's any significant variation per time of day?

The Miley Cyrus/chicken joke seems to be persisting pretty well.

Also, I wonder how many selfies are getting run through some sort of facial recognition thingie and quietly getting filed away in some black box in a server rack far, far away. I'd guess: all of them.
