Initial Estimates Of Iraq War Costs Off By A Mere %100,000

As Sec. Kerry calls for an "unbelievably small" attack on Syria, the discrepancies between early White House estimates for the cost of attacking Iraq and current numbers is sobering. Also worth considering that Iran, with a military capability much larger than pre-war Iraq's, has signed a treaty with Syria promising to aid it if attacked.

This post was deleted for the following reason: There are quite a few open Syria threads; a post on the financial cost of the Iraq War should probably be a bit more substantial than just a single short article, sorry. -- goodnewsfortheinsane
