Have a favorite vehicle?

Have a favorite vehicle? Looking for a late night, post-office party romp, well keep an eye out for the Spanish or Italian gent in his Porsche Boxter, or the Chesire lady in her Volkswagen Beetle. Be sure to stay clear of stick shifts and men from Southeast England.

Favorite of those I've owned? Audi 5000.
Favorite car of All Time? Porsche Carrera.
Favorite car I'd like to own? Audi A8.
Favorite car to cop some boo-tay? Chevy Suburban (lots of acreage - comfort is a priority, you don't want any stickshift injuries, trust me).
My likely next car purchase? Volvo S80 :)

UncleFes, either you didn't read the link, or you're three feet tall. I can't imagine getting it on in a two seater with a stick.

Or, scratch that, I didn't get down to the boo-tay in the Suburban.... right on.... good room to lay out in (pun intended).

Either they're interviewing nymphos, or I work in the wrong office.

eyeballkid: The article said that the men with Porsche Boxters are most likely to be sexually successful. There must be a plague of midgets and midget-fanciers in Europe.

I love these polls that actually believe what people claim about their sexual frequency/prowess/etc. Say, I just finished doing a half-dozen 18-yr-old blond Swedish babes in the back of a Mini (which I keep in my Silver Shadow boot.) And the pollster is like, wow! (write write write).

also: gender counts. men tend to overreport sexual activity whereas women tend to underreport it.

Favorite car of all time? Tough call... Porsche probably makes it, though. The new GT2 could very well claim the title if I think about it a bit more.

Car I'd most like to see come to the States? Skyline GT-R. Closely followed by the WRX STi.

Likely next car purchase? It'll be several more years before I have the current one paid off. If it does make it to the US, and comes in at under $40k, the STi is a possibility. If it's under $35k, it's a very good possibility.

I'm also intrigued by the Audi S4, but that's in a higher price bracket. Of course, this all assumes that my salary continues to increase it its accustomed rate, and I'll be able to comfortably spend $40,000 on a car at that time.

Which, in the current economy, is questionable.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

Many people lie like hell about sex to your face, imagine what they contribute to a "survey".

Latin lovers came out top of the in-car promiscuity league..

Well, of course.

Along with Italians, they are the worst bullshitters anywhere when it comes to bragging about sex.

Neither one ever met anyone they didn't nail or bang or whatever.

I don't think that people who would bother themselves to answer an online survey about sex in cars would be getting anywhere near the level of sex in cars they're reporting.

As an aside, I find British people to be the singularly most irritating nationality abroad. If something isn't done exactly the way it's done in England, then it's wrong. I'm British by birth, resident of the USA by choice, and I ain't going back for nuthin'.

Well I don't know how they go about such things in the USA, daragh, but casting such slanderous aspersions on one's birth nationality is certainly not the done thing here in England.

I think Voyageman meant our favourite car for the amatory arts. I once rented one of these in LA and, as the Swedish owner puts it: "it's so wiiiiiide!"

In fact, it's perfect. Who cares what it looks like, right?

Yep. Remember the rule of 3 from American Pie 2. :)

The two best all around cars in my opinion are rally specs - the Subara WRX STi and the Mistubishi Lancer EVO 7. The best car, regardless of price is the drop dead gorgeous, sex-dripping Porsche GT2.

Yay, catatonic! Another car post, not some icky sex post, and you agree with me on two points. Wanna be friends?

(Yes, I'm in a weird mood)

The best car in my opinion is the Ferrari 550 Marnello, sporty yet practical, with enough room in the back seat for the kids, and did I mention it's a Ferrari? :)

I think that the Snoop De Ville will have this market segment covered.

Er, my choice would be a 1974 AMC Gremlin... outstanding in all categories discussed here so far, and then some. Well, until it exploded anyway...

A: I'm English and lived there 15 years, ergo if I criticize my own "countrymen", I don't think that qualifies as "racism".

B: Why is that it's ok to express a preference for or opposition to fruit / colors of paint / artists / cheese (ad infinitum), or in this case, cars, but not people? So I don't care for English people....SO!? Am I not allowed to have a preference?

Uncle Fes-

You got it all right! I was lucky enough to learn how to drive a manual transmission in my dad's Audi 5000 CS Turbo Quattro. I hated to see that car get sold!

The suburbans are excellent rolling bedrooms (a neighbor actually had a futon matress custom-fitted to the back of his Suburban). When I want to 4x4 in style though nothing beats a Rangie.

I think an Audi S8 would be my next purchase... but that is a WAYS off!
