If you are an eleven year old boy, than this is the movie for you. (they are not making any more Cannonball Run sequels... *sniff*)

Other than that, wait until it is out on video... next month.

Good lord! Is that Jim Carrey!!?!

Actually, that's Steve Oedekerk, the screenwriter behind such masterpieces as The Nutty Professor and Patch Adams (and Kung Pow too, of course). I predict it will be mildly more amusing than drilling holes in one's skull.

More info available here.

Airplane is a classic. Period.

"First the earth cooled. And, then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died, and they turned into oil. And, then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And, Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it, he took her best summer dress out of the closet, and put it on, and went to town."

This guy was in a movie called High Strung, one of the funniest movies I have seen. I picked the re-release up at my video store because it had this blurb about Jim Carrey's performance being "better than Ace Ventura" (no jokes). Mr. Carrey was all the rage back then but he was only in the movie for maybe a combined 6 minutes. No matter, "the other guy" (Oedekirk) was so much funner than Carrey's ass-talking ass anyway.

I saw this flick in a test screening, it was actually pretty funny. Of course it was a rough cut, but the dude is pretty creative.
