See, I get ideas like this, but then I realize in a month photoshopping cats into picks of weddings will feel like work.

Despite the photoshopping, I still get nervous on those with low ceiling lamps or, god forbid, fans.
Like I totally can imagine the single ladies catching the cat thrown in mid-air but you put in large sconces and it's a bridge too far.

Holy crap that's an awesome looking cat.
I came in to post about that one too. That's a pretty hefty kitty and I don't see how the bride was making the toss one-handed.

I enjoy a nice cat blanket-toss as much as the next person. But that stuff looks dangerous for the onlookers.

These are all taken a moment too early. I want to see the pictures of descending cats, claws extended, shredding into the crowd at face level.

So let's be clear here: these are photoshopped. These brides may have swung the cat around, but nobody threw a cat in lieu of a floral bouquet at their wedding.

Reminds me of how my dad would tell me that he and his brother would play catch with a live, very displeased chicken. They always, er, chickened out of actually catching the thing when thrown.

I was pretty dumb as a kid. If I'd seen this, I'd have tried it. Please make sure the kids you know are informed that one shouldn't throw cats, even if you're not sure whether they've seen this.
(I would never do this now, but I did try to put a cat in a deep swimming pool to see whether it could swim. I was pretty dumb, with high test scores. Kids are dumb. Please be careful with this kind of thing)
(If anyone knows the owner of this site, please ask him or her to put up a disclaimer. There are kids everywhere on the Internet).

We always used to call that thing where you pick up a whole litter of kittens at once a "cat bouquet." And we used to call that thing where you hold all four of a cat's paws while he's sleeping on his side a "paw bouquet." So I guess this is the natural next step.
At the end of the wedding, instead of rice or birdseed or confetti, the guests could shower the happy couple with dry Meow Mix.
