...it's probably worth pointing out that a significant number of the establishments to be destroyed (assuming anyone carries out the "order") are brothels. The vicinity of Phnom Penh is crawling with them. The cynic in me says they're probably brothels owned by people that don't pay protection fees, and that's the "vice" that bothers Hun Sen.

I had no idea things were this fucked up in Cambodia at the moment. Anyone have decent links to more detail on the backstory (recent, I mean) to this new craziness? I suspect aramaic is right, though.
