Happy 100th, Mary! My husband saw Mary Martin in "I Do, I Do" which I think I will listen to today.

Mary Martin toured Hello Dolly in Japan and for the troops in Vietnam during the Vietnam war in the mid 60s. They made a television documentary about it, two clips exist of which exist on YouTube.

The end of the documentary has her singing alternate lyrics to the troops. It's very touching actually.

Here's another clip from the beginning of the documentary about their trip to Tokyo, narrated by Mary Martin herself.

Here's a wonderful clip of Ethel Merman and Mary Martin with a medley of Broadway songs and Tin Pan Alley standards performed on live tv in 1953.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARY! We loved that TV production of "Peter Pan" as kids- watched it until the tape wore out. It's out of print now and that breaks my heart!

Yes, it is out of print (which is actually a bit shocking to me!). But, the internet contains all things.
