This is the level of violence in Mockingjay the book. To get a PG13 rating, they'll have to make extensive cuts. Much like the cuts King Arthur made to the Black Knight.

Perhaps Katniss could do a team-up movie with Summer Glau.

I have to think that the real Katniss would be annoyed by how often she's depicted here juuuust missing people. Harrison Ford would have been a goner.

@rikschell: This is the level of violence in Mockingjay the book.

My 12yo has been reading the first (?) book and she offhandedly mentioned "I got to the part where they start killing people" followed shortly by "eww...this is way nastier than the movie".

You'd be lucky to hit a barn door with a technique like that (grumble grumble).
It's not all bad, though: we've had a nice upturn in the number of people joining our local archery club

Came for the people getting hit with arrows, was only disappointed once.

Technically, walkers aren't people. And don't call them "zombies".

Conspicuously lacking any of the arrow floods from the Jet Li movie Hero.

Aww man! I just got the Iliad.

I thought that her technique was considered relatively good, movie-wise?

The best part of that was the Throne of Blood bit at the end.

As a woodwind player I've seen everything from saxophonists playing Selmer S80s in WWII era scenes to clarinet players playing right hand over left hand (grumble grumble)
