Where can I find a slutty cow costume for my horse?

(Look, it's ok. It's just a phase and I don't want to be judgmental.)

That panda one is just...wow. Seriously? We can't just enjoy a horse dressed as a panda without dragging weird racist yellowface into it?

And what kind of heartless monster dresses their pony like a piƱata?!

I'm thinking about all of the times I couldn't even get my horse to keep his polo wraps (or, heaven forbid, standing wraps) on and can only imagine that copious doses of Ace were used in some of these costumes.

Someone should invent a creepy human head mask for horses to wear.

Pinata? What kind of kid thinks it's funny to dress a horse as a McDonald's burger?

Horse Fancy Dress Ideas

I'm beginning to suspect that the horses didn't really come up with these ideas.

Pfft, now you'll tell me a horse didn't write all those ebooks.

usually I am all about costumes, but fjords are so adorable there's no reason to add to the adorable and give everyone cute strokes by making a set of them into trains.

TwoStride - no Ace needed, I suspect, look at armor and middle eastern styles (from hundreds of years ago.)

I saw an icelandic with a full-time dinopony mane. Adorable.

Thanks for the post. My horse is currently in costume as Peanuts Pigpen.

Having grown up in a family where horses were as important as any other member of the family (I'm so allergic I couldn't get within spitting distance of my father), this is shameful and wrong. It's the horses that are causing global warming by farting extra methane to put a stop to this barbarism. Soon the world will be theirs, and the shoe will be on the other foot!

Combine this with Horse Master and it could go to a really dark place.

Wait, what am I thinking... anything combined with Horse Master goes to a really dark place.

That dragon is going to have a very heavy tail by the end of the day.

Hmmm... no... not quite, not quite at all. I am afraid I will have to go elsewhere for my fancy horse dress this season. I wish you the best of luck and shake your hand as my face creases imperceptibly for but a moment. I have become quite tired.

The off-the-rack link gives the following error message:

"403: Access Forbidden

"Your location (CA) has been blacklisted."

Apparently Canadian cos-play ponies will have to look elsewhere for their fancy garb.

Lesser Shrew--right, but my high strung and wimpy TB would have nothing to do with battle, jousting, or sand and high winds, either.

My wife does this with her horse. The last time it dressed up as a rock star, complete with a guitar around its neck.

I try not to say anything.

I have dressed my horses as carousel horses, ballerinas, and the now cringe inducing Native American pony. At one memorable show my sister and I grabbed a friend and went as the evolution of a horsewoman. Our friend was a cavewoman complete with a club and a bear pelt. My sister wore a toga and draped laurels around the neck of her horse. I was a Victorian lady, carrying a dead chicken. I don't remember why. Anyway, our idea was appreciated only by my mother, and the other kids in the class were visibly perplexed, along with their parents. It was still fun!

Paging BlueHorse to the thread....

Oh yeah, here we are!

The Endurance Fairy. Rode a fifty mile ride like this. You don't have the full appreciation of the dyed pink long johns and the horse's humiliation unless you see this pic.

The Siberian Ice Maid on the Pazyryk Horse complete with horns. We only signed up for a 25 that day. Good thing--that costume was hot and the horns kept flailing around.

Since I quit doing endurance, I just do costumes for parades. Since Brodie the mule is just barely under saddle, I walked him in this year's Christmas parade. Merry Muletide!

The Endurance Fairy.

Hilarious! Well done, both of you.

A bluehorse doesn't need a costume. Blue roans are already the most beautiful. Other horses should be dressed as blue roans.
