Ever wonder what it's like to spend 16 hours in a Home Depot? Now you don't have to. "Many people asked what it was like to spend 16 hours in the home depot. For those who want to know I provide you with a transcript of the journal that I kept during the event. It is raw and unedited so be warned. Due to the state of insanity that I was in on this strange day I take no responsibility for what I wrote."

Kids paint is fucking gay. Let's check out some color names

That's brilliant! Oh, wait, no it's not. It's lame. He writes like alternative radio, if you say "shit" and "fuck" every couple of words, it must be cool.

I would be more impressed if he pulled it off on 2 hits of acid.

That's a great post, manero, thanks. That's the kind of random web stuff I love finding/linking on MeFi.

I may try this tonight, now that I just bought a house and they have a 40% off sale!. I'll be eating "windy city dogs" (are they at every HD?) and drinking diet coke till the break of dawn. Might take some classes as well. See yall later.

I recently had to spend 18 hours at Miami International Airport.
I can relate to every paranoid, misanthropic and juvenile thought that dude expressed.

That was great. I agree with msacheson, I love it when stuff like this pops up on MeFi.

Good post.

I especially liked the random "Pi" reference ["Were they afraid that I would crack the numerical code that would let me speak directly to God? (Don't worry HD guys, I went to the demo drill aisle and drilled that part of my brain out.)"]

I enjoy random nonsensical projects like this, too. Toss my thanks on the pile as well.

I wonder if this guy knows that Christian over at The Spark is (or at least was recently) hiring henchmen.

I'll toss my thanks on the heap as well. In addition to providing some much needed comic relief, this reminded me of the documentation from Teching Hsieh's "One Year Performances" - art projects in which he spent a year in a cage, a year homeless in Lower Manhattan, and a year tied to another person (see "Tied" about 1/2 way down the page.)
