2009 International Barbershop Champions the Crossroads Quartet sings Little Patch of Heaven for the Dapper Dans at Disney world while on vacation.
You haven't lived until you've been to a funeral featuring three barbershop groups IN the service and a barbershop-off at the reception.

I wish there was a socially acceptable way of indicating "DANGIT do you know wnothing of Barbershop tags?! The song's not over yet! The best part hasn't even happened! Shut the heck up and let them finish!"

I was a member of the Society for Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA) during high school and went to several international conventions. Those conventions were awesome, and the top quartets consistently gave me chills with how incredibly well they made their harmonies. Now the society has changed its name to the Barbershop Harmony Society, which is vastly more boring of a name, but I bet the conventions are still tons of fun.

Sitting diagonally from me at work right now is the lead for Forefront, who finished 5th in the last international competition.
They can sing.
