So that's where Duane! comes from.

I wonder whether he knows he's a meme now.

Is it wrong of me that I kind of want to send those kids down to a rural village for political reeducation?

Haven't they suffered enough?

Haven't they suffered enough?

I am not sure there is enough self-criticism to expunge this. Just sayin'.

They recruited for this show at my high school. My (stupid) parents wouldn't let me go, but several of my friends are in the linked video! Nice find!

Thought the link would go to this. (Which a local video chain used to stock in the "cult" section, by the way.)

ApathyGirl, did they specifically recruit kids who had a background in dancing? Because I have a hard time believing that those kids could dance so well if they weren't trained.

I love the track that's played under the introduction of the kids.

And Todd needs to take this shit more seriously.

And Todd needs to take this shit more seriously.

Don't worry. Punishment was swift and total. To this day, there are little bits of ground-up Todd in every Barbie sold in North America. True fact.

I'm surprised this is from as late as 1989; the latest dance craze "the Barbie" appears to be based on the 1986/7 dancing Barbie & the Rockers. (Mullethead Ken sold separately.)

I feel a little guilty saying this as a 41-year-old father, but the current Barbie animated series is actually kind of funny.

I thought the link would go to this. More or less satisfied.

If you're going to take center stage, please be coordinated.

Soul Train--teach them.

I thought this was fake or satire. It' like 'Soul Train' for white kids.

Edited to say I couldn't get passed the 3 minute mark. Gag me with a spoon.
