Also, aren't animals by definition morally ambiguous?

However I laughed at:

Ursulav is responsible for the Biting Pear Of Salamanca (aka LOLWUT, which has raised some Creative Commons questions for her) and other surrealist vegetable and fruit art (about the latter, she writes "The platypus was aware that some people flew garlic competitively, but the idea had never interested him. He just wanted to be out here, feeling the breeze in his fur, watching the ponderous yet oddly delicate motion of the garlic in the wind" -- she has an Edward Gorey-sized talent for giving the tantalizing outline of a surrealist story) and soooo many other delightful things and I love her so so much and I will follow her on Twitter now. and is she a MeFite? because I hope she is.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my favorite Ursula Vernon output, the Kevin and Ursula Eat Cheap podcast, which brings her and her husband's senses of humor to the task of eating and reviewing often quite awful (if not necessarily cheap) prepackaged food, interspersed with their own anecdotes and rants.

This appears to be based on our dogs. RIP every cardboard tube, funny sounding toy and bicycle pump we have used to terrify and amaze the male dog which has consequently been ripped to shreds by his female companion.

I don't really understand why we, as a society, wouldn't just be sending regular FedEx trucks full of money to Ursula Vernon, but apparently that isn't happening? Was there a mix-up?

I recently (and almost simultaneously) received the 1300-page Complete Bone volume and the 700-page Complete Digger volume and after a couple days surveying both graphic fantasy worlds, dammit, the Wombat won.

Although I am now starting to imagine Ursula K. Vernon as more of a badger than a wombat.
