I've seen a lot of great bands play public transportation, and TOO MANY ZOOZ is the cream of the crop.

I love these guys - always stop to listen if they're playing.

If you like this sort of thing, you should also check out Moon Hooch - they both played at the Mercury Lounge a few weeks ago, TMZ opening up for MH.

If you really like TOO MANY ZOOZ then throw 'em five bucks on their Bandcamp page. Also, if you like them then (as fancybone said) you should check out Moon Hooch.

Fun trio but personally I think it's too loud for the subway. And, at least for me, the best subway musicians I know of are the ones who have no idea what social media is, aren't trying to make a ton of money so they can record an album or go on tour or play gigs in better venues, and aren't strutting for a camera, etc..

Damn, that made my day!

This sounds great!

I don't know what time this was recorded, but I would hate to be coming home when this was going on. Too much after a long day!

ReeMonster, visit our local shops. We've got a whole bunch of Albanian accordion players who should be right up your street.

that was beautiful

there was a guy who made up songs about passengers on maybe the 2 or the 5. Once I was sort of boozed up and with a friend, and we made the mistake of being obvious about looking at the guy and laughing at him (the songs were bad).

Here came my comeuppance: I'm in a wheelchair, so when the guy saw me, at the other end of the car, make eye contact and smirk, he began

I BELIEVE I CAN FLY, I BELIEVE I CAN FLY, SOMEDAY I AM GOING TO LEAVE THIS WHEELCHAIR BEHIND AND FLY AWAY, OH YEAH YEAH YEAH OH LOOK AT THE GIRL IN THE WHEELCHAIR SOMEDAY SHE WILL FLY!

I am actually comfortable saying the words 'shut up or I will cut you' but I didn't have the stones to scream that down the length of the subway car.

Wow. I've been meaning to see Moon Hooch for a while but this is even better than that. Fucking amazing shit, especially the noises he can pull from that baritone sax.
