Impressive collection of movie prop replicas. Its mostly Star Wars stuff, but this replica of Deckard's gun from Bladerunner is very, very cool.

what's the extra trigger for?

The extra trigger clearly proves that Deckard is a replicant.

Let's say it's the.. uhh.. safety. You pull the trigger to activate the safety.. and then.. uhh.. when you want to deactivate it.. you..

Crap, I got nothin'.

Maybe one prop guy said to the other prop guy
"Hey man, in, like, twenty years this usenet thing is gonna balloon, and people from all over the world will get behind their computers to collect their resources and cure cancer and solve world hunger and stuff like that."
"Uh-huh."
"Then, after they've accomplished all that, they'll unwind by parsing details from sci-fi movies. "
"What are you saying, Carl?"
"Well, Let's give this sum'bitch two triggers."

OK, that stuff is all pretty cool, especially Deckard's gun and the Tusken Raider mask...

BUT, Qui-Gon Jinn's 'gear' thing on the left is so obviously a spray-painted Gilette Sensor Excel for Women.

Cool, anyway, though.

Lots of guns have two triggers. On this particular one, "The trigger mechanism was equipped with two triggers: the forward trigger gave full-auto fire and the rear was used for semi-automatic fire."

Deckard's gun is a real bolt-action rifle cut down to pistol size. Apparently the two triggers are the result of a "target-match-style set trigger system."
