Played entirely in FPB (First Person Bear). There's been a disturbing trend in games of late. They harbor a horrible bias in today’s gaming world. Most are blind to it but it's all right there, that's right, none of these games has you playing as a bear. It's quite clear the fat cats in Washington with their stove top hats and contemporary jazz music don't want us playing as bears, it's about time to fight back against the tyranny.

Sure it may seem like a “dumb idea” or a “really dumb idea” but you can't honestly tell me you've never secretly wanted to be a bear wandering around the forest. That's just an outright lie.

True, there was this. But computer technology has come a long, long way since then.

Now, you can really be a bear.

I will install Windows if that is a requirement for the goat simulator.

I enjoyed how the paws stayed forward and visible when the demo bear made the jump on the bridge, and the kind of jump thereby implied.

...

actually the paws were forward for the whole thing. what sort of terrifyingly evolved bear is this?

They were testing the game in bipedal mode, presumably because that is the default mode for most FPS engines.

If you roll up a druid in the recently re-released Baldur's Gate, you can be a bear at least some of the time. (Though you could make the case that the game punishes you for that choice by foisting Jaheira, a redundant half-druid, on your party.)
