The title link is, indeed, probably old news. However, a quick Googling about reveals something you may not have looked at before: copies of the original jargon.txt and of the 1983 Guy L. Steele edited Hacker's Dictionary. Go experience the glories of hackerdom as it was before all these Unix people came in and ruined everything!
