Psychotronicand other space-based mindcontrol weapons would be banned under a bill introduced in the US House of Representatives by Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) last October. If it passes, can I take off my tinfoil helmet?

I see nothing wrong or even strange about redefining "weapons" to include psychotronic devices. There are already patents on these kinds of things and for all I know they work or someone is going to make them work eventually. Better to be safe than sorry. Maybe the bill's architects know something we don't.

Sure, its a bit premature, but even NASA and SETI have established protocols in case they contact any aliens, yet you don't see too many people falling out of their chairs because of it. I'm certain developing electronic psy-op weapons is a lot more probable then ever meeting a living intelligent race from galaxies away.

I'd rather not have my consciousness altered by a remote device, especially when I can do it at home with my Proteus.

Those crazy goggles do work suprisingly well, and if your too cheap to buy the commercially available ones this site gives a good overview of how to make a set for those of us that like tinkering with electronics.
Back to conversation over the link, I think its great that they are launching a bill to limit use of this sort of thing, as long as it doesn't disturm ligitimate research here on earth. Because I for one hate to think of the day when the government can make me think whatever it wants using a satillite in space. **resumes lining his walls with tinfoil**

jpoulos, I get varying results, but they do help in getting into a deep relaxed state and even get really odd visuals out of meditation. For the most part though, its the effort you put into it that matters. Brain entrainment really works, but if you're distracted or don't have 45 minutes to spend meditating along with the machine then it really doesn't do anything.
