Flying RC Aircraft Carrier, Last year we saw the first launch of an RC Aircraft from an RC Carrier. Now we have the first launch AND landing of an RC Aircraft on a Flying RC Carrier.

I saw planes launch from the flying carrier, and the flying carrier landed on a non-flying carrier, but I didn't see a plane land on a flying carrier. Did I miss it?

Same concept on a larger scale in real life: the Lockheed CL-1201.

Nuclear powered, therefore capable of remaining aloft for 40 days at mach 0.8. It was to have had a 300 meter wingspan, a crew of 800, and 20 parasite fighter/bombers intended to dock with it in mid-flight. Craziest of all, the CL-1201 was designed with 182 lift jets for VSTOL. That's right, lift jets. Lockheed designed a helicarrier.

I didn't see an aircraft land on it either.

Aircraft landing on a flying aircraft carrier. Not quite as.. powered as the CL-1201, but maybe larger by volume. And it was a real thing that really flew.

Very cool! Disappointed it doesn't turn invisible though.

I also kinda wish they had made the flying aircraft carrier look less like, well a flying aircraft carrier. It could have been any flat-topped design, this was the least cool option.

How many people get hit by model airplanes there every year?

You're very clever, young man, very clever," said the old lady. "But it's aircraft carriers all the way down!

No way, this was the most cool option! I like that it had a bunch of little flags.

As I have said after EVERY. SINGLE. MARVEL. MOVIE. "You know, I'm beginning to wonder if having flying aircraft carriers is even a good idea."

And I see nothing here to reassure me regarding those doubts.

well, every single marvel movie that features the damned useless, dangerous, stupid, endlessly-falling-out-of-the-sky motherfuckers. and that seems to be most of them.

The opening few seconds, with all the planes flying around, looks like Mad Max.

That would just be AVENGERS and CAPTAIN AMERICA 2, wouldn't it?

I didn't watch the whole video. Did they manage to crash the thing into a model of the Potomac River?

Epony-something, shurely.

Absolutely; I freely admit that I am biased.
