God, I actually want to buy most of these designs.

I think "Now or Not for a Long Time" has to be my new family motto and get worked into the crest. Any Latin speakers here who can translate it for me? (Or German speakers while we're at it - might as well have Dad's Swabian ancestry represented.)

I thought this had been posted before, because I thought I found it here. For several weeks now I've had this open in a tab in my browser, and I just refresh...and refresh....and laugh.

They're doing some very tricky things. Mine juxtaposed RHIZOME and FUCKTARD.

I like these, but I am curious as to why so many of them are in English. Is English the language of T-shirts, like Italian used to be language of Music?

A random shirt number gets displayed. There's nothing random about the designs. Or was that understood? Here's the design for shirt number 89879899

There's nothing random about the designs

How do you know?

There's sort of a madlibs thing going on here. There is a human touch to the designs, but refresh often enough and you'll see the same phrases with different words substituted.

"Nobody said ______ would be easy" has come up three times, same layout, different colors, different word in the blank. ("peeing" was the first.)

There are also some designs where, if the word is random, it's limited to words that have exactly the right number of letters for the design.

Pretty sure it's simply loading a random png file from a massive collection. That fact that some reuse design elements and/or phrases doesn't necessarily mean it's randomly (or logically) merging things. I think it's just a huge collection of images and some are similar.

...and I just got a "Nobody said caring would be easy" shirt with a completely different design.

And I've seen "EMERGENCY NOISE RESTORE" and "EMERGENCY GLAMOUR RESTORE" in completely different designs.

"RHIZOME FUCKTARD" (which I now believe could be the name of an NSA operation) came up for me with a couple of disco karate dudes.

GIANT BARNACLE TIME!

"The extensive attention to detail provides this effective, parliamentary shirt with orthodox styling, giving you a chance to experience the vogue of the minute. Even after multiple wears, this shirt will still fit badly. Everything slipshod is good for you!"

I am very tempted...

They have a FAQ, which includes these explanations:

What exactly is randomized about the shirts?

The combination of image and text; the color; the size of the image; in most cases, the composition of the text as well.

How many different designs are there?

The designs are put together from 2654 images and about 50,000 possible texts in one of 387 fonts; on top of that, you can choose from different colors. All in all, that comes to 44,454,500,000,000 possible designs as a rough estimation. If you spend a few years clicking patiently, you may see the same shirt twice.

What happens to the shirts I've clicked away?

They go to the place where aborted babies watch canceled TV shows.

What does the little shirt icon on the top left mean?

A green icon means that you're the only one who gets to see this shirt. After you've looked at it, it will be thrown out. If the shirt machine is overloaded, you'll see a yellow icon there, which means that a few other users have seen this shirt as well. But after a few hours, this design is deleted as well.
