Lights, paper, action!

Davy and Kristin McGuire do some amazing things with cut paper, light and animation that turn these beautifully cut paper dioramas into haunting installations - including an homage to Hitchcock. Via Colossal.

Kind of reminded me of that oddly out-of-place (to me) animation in the middle of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie.

They are lovely but I wouldn't want to live in one (fire hazard, too hard to resist graffiti with fountain pens, blown away by pigs, etc).
