More creative than a dead mouse, anyway.

Draped in a glittering techni-colour dreamcoat and hiding somewhere behind an animatronic dick-face, it's Anklepants - lord of mutant bass and distorted pop electro.

I had to google just to confirm this wasn't a side Mouse on Mars project. Very Radical Connector.

Reminded me just a little too much of this guy.

Are these his tracks? I could do without the pixelated howling but the beats aren't half bad.

Can he be classified as a furry?

Not unless there is some fur we don't see.

The thing about dress up performance art is that you need to have matching sounds. Buckethead, Nash the Slash, Throbbing Gristle etc. have or had corresponding musical vision to go with the show and shtick.

This seems like pretty ordinary oomf-tsh oomf-tsh club beats.

Definitely going for a "hey, I'm a weird European, you know" vibe.

I actually saw this a while back, the artist behind the mask, one way or the other, also made these nifty articulated hand/finger extensions.

:/ An Anklepants post deserves waaaay more than a simple link to that Boiler Room performance. He has done a take-down of all the haters too on his Facébook.

My wife and I do a TV show called Experimental Half-Hour and we taped him in front of a green-screen a few years ago. Hands-down my favorite performer from that run.

He's an Australian guy living in Berlin, going under the name Reecard Farché. His day job is as an Animatronics prosthetics creator.

I love this , we used to have a lot of that sort of thing at 21 Grand folks like Moe Staiano Dan Deacon and Evolution Control Committee. I love this sort of thing in general.
