I hope the Heat have enjoyed their time in the sun, because the Spurs have been playing some amazing ball this series.

This was way better than it had any business being, quality-wise. Some of the jokes were pretty awful, though.

I tried, really I tried to follow GoT. I guess I'm not an appointment tv person - I usually wait till a series ends and watch the episodes in close succession. I blame my poor attention span.

Some not-fans-of what is percieved as a US sport might like to know that out of 15 players the Spurs have a player from Italy, France, Argentina, France [again], Brazil and United States Virgin Islands. Their best players, excluding one are all from countries that aren't the US. "the San Antonio Spurs set an all-time record for international players on an opening-night squad, with 10"

Pat Reily should have trademarked "twopeat" because on Sunday night Miami is going to have a sad flight home.

You know, as someone who hasn't read the books I've actually considered making some playoff elimination brackets to keep track of all the different players.

I haven't watched this yet but the Spurs are definitely the Iron Bank.

Everyone in Boston is watching the Stanley Cup finals, because Boston sports fans are connoisseurs of sport, and appreciate story and drama. We don't know how Rangers v. Kings winds up. We know how the NBA finals wind up.

You can put me, Peter Dinklage, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and either Michael Jordan or Larry Bird - as they are now in 2014 - on a team with Tim Duncan coached by G-Pop, and we will make it to the post-season.

There is one true dynasty in the NBA right now, and King James ain't a part of it.

Basketball? It's big in Greece, Spain, Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Lithuania, Israel and Italy and on the rise (again) in France, Germany and Finland. Must have a pretty good following in Argentina, Brazil, Australia etc. too judging by the quality of their teams.

That was really really good.

I think this is remarkably well done. The Kevin Love part is hilariously dead on.
Earlier in the playoffs this Spurs tribute video was released and it's just perfect.
