Summer Games Done Quick 2014 kicked off a little over 12 hours ago as of this writing. For the rest of the week, games from just about every genre and platform will be run while donations are collected for Doctors Without Borders.

The previous marathon put on by Speed Demos Archive (link currently redirects to the main marathon site) and Speedruns Live raised over $1 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. SGDQ tends to be a little smaller, but raised $250k last year and has a goal of $500k for this year. Having raised a little under $60,000 in just the first half day of the marathon, it seems likely they will exceed that goal.

Links to video of runs that have already been completely can be found in this reddit thread. Runs from past marathons can be found on SDA's youtube channel.

The list of bidding wars and donation incentives is here. The list of all the prizes being raffled off is here.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Hey, sorry, but live fundraisers are against the guidelines. Perhaps repost with highlights after the fundraising period is over? -- taz

If I get a chance tomorrow, I might go digging through my comments to scrape together a "here are my favorite agdq/sgdq runs from past marathons" comment. As for this marathon, all the runs I've been around for have been fun so far, but the Super Mario World 3D World and Donkey Kong Country 2 race were both particularly fun.
