Huh. I regularly went to the Tourettes Without Regrets shows over ten years ago, and hung out at his house a couple times, when he was Jamie Kennedy. When the other Jamie Kennedy was getting big, he tried going by the Real Jamie Kennedy for a bit, and then moved on to the obviously made-up name of Jamie DeWolf. I had no idea it was made up by someone else to distance themselves from Scientology.

He's an incredibly cool and talented guy. Nice to see him pop up on MetaFilter.

Tourettes Without Regrets is definitely still a place to go see Jamie in his element.

Isn't it ironic that the founder of a religion that bases its theology on 1950s pulp sci-fi has a great grandson building a career on reviving 1950s poetry?
