For the person who has everything... No diamonds on these little gems, as suggested in a previous thread, but for $21,240 a pop, you could be chatting on a solid gold or platinum Vertu phone by mid-2002. Bargain, eh?
vir·tu (vr-t, vr-) also ver·tu (vr-)
n.
A knowledge or love of or taste for fine objects of art.
Objects of art, especially fine antique objets d'art, considered as a group.
How can a phone, just a communication tool, be considered art ?
Unless, perhaps, the phone displays art on the screen when not in use.

Forget games, for that price, I hope it turns into a Lexus IS300 at the touch of a button.
"...offer a sound as clear as a Mozart symphony..."
Wait a minute...I can listen to a Mozart symphony in a concert hall, and the sound quality will be good. I can listen to a Mozart symphony from a dusty old LP I bought at the Salvation Army, and the quality will be lousy. Listening to a Mozart symphony over a cellphone seems like it would be more lousy than clear.

may be dumb, but expect to see it gracing the next hot rap video, and used by your nba or nfl star who has nothing better to do with his money. and they'll likely own two... one to match the gold jewelry, and one to match the platinum.

They should create a store for this kinda stuff called "Obscenely Conspicuous ConsumptionLand." These phones would be on the shelf right next to the diamond studded Ben Wa Balls.

This just in....
"Man attacked for his cell phone"
Not trying to be too negative but this is just ridiculous. I've known friends who have lost 2-3 cell phones, just imagine losing this or having someone jack it from you. Forgot car jacking, it's all about phone jacking now.
