It looks like a Radio Shack exploded inside... possibly one of the most astonishing cars I've ever seen. Just wait until you find out what it started its life as.

I asked my friend who provided this link whether you'd call it a 'rice car' or not. He replied:

"Actually, I'd call it an abomination. ;o)

Yes, it's sort of rice, but it *must* be ironic. That cannot be serious."

skoda is not an oriental mark, doesn't that preclude the title 'rice car'? a question, not a statement.
it's a good job he's got drilled peddles, wouldn't want all that extra weight.

It looks like this Dutch fellow went nuts at an American flea market and shipped a lot of Ham Operator junk home with him.

I agree with one of the comments on the page - the "computer" is nothing more than a cheapo portable TV and a labelmaker!

And ... is that ... could it be ... a first-generation Simon game on his dashboard? BAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

I'm told that to be a true rice car, yes, it would have to be an oriental car, but certainly the car featured is 'rice-like'.

I like that fact that despite all of the money this guy (and you know it's a male who did this) spent on all that crap in there, he still has a tape deck.

Yeah, saw this in the C&D forums a month or two ago, and about died laughing. And no, it's technically not "rice" in the strict sense, but its what my friends and I call "white rice". The funniest one I've seen recently was a riced out Ford Focus with Kanji characters on the running board. But alas, no "powered by Honda" sticker. No imagination any more.

I see too many "rice rockets" in my town (SF), but that thing is over the top and then some. It looks like the robot lady from Superman III.

Nothing gets the chicks faster than a Playboy decal on the dashboard. Sweet touch, cowboy.

Where are the chicks supposed to sit in that car?

I dunno, some part of me is strangely drawn to it. I can't help it.

the only way I could ever ride in that car is if there was a Nuclear war and zombies took over the world, forcing me to live like a hardcoe techno-ninja, Mad Max style.

but what would be missing from the experience and car? everything needs to be repainted black and the radio has to only be able to play the knight rider theme song...

yeah, i've put too much thought into this already.....

My favorite comment:

It doesn't give dyno readings in horsepower but in gauss!

You know this cat gets all the ladies.

Homer Simpson made a car exactly like it, but it was green and had a bubble roof.
