[request] where can I ask people for home cleaning advise.

I live in am old home that needs a lot of work restoring. Where Can I ask people for advise on proper cleaning techniques. I've looked up general cleaning tips (such as vinegar and baking soda solutions, etc) but it would be nice if someone could help me directly. The solutions I found online did not seem to work.
