I don't care if it's been done before. I thought it was very funny. I sent it to my born-again friend who is always emailing me "come to god" stories. That should make her pray even more for my soul's salvation.

This is unintended self-satire. So God doesn't like George W. Bush, Country & Western music, Texas, 'big hair and mascara', trailer parks, and pork rinds? God feels that the war in Afghanistan would be more 'fair' if Dubya and Osama slugged it out hand-to-hand? Why, it's astonishing how much God's tastes and political opinions resemble those of the average net lefty, isn't it? And the angel's pique at America's material success sounds almost like that of... a Canadian. "God is on our side!" is ugly and stupid no matter which side of the political spectrum it's coming from.
