34 Panoramic Shots which illustrate why leaving all the photography decisions to your phone software, is not always the best decision Do not click link if you don't want to see images which simulate bodyhorror. Think videodrome-esque. As per usual YMMV.

Many of those are clearly deliberately created, so in that sense, they've not gone wrong at all.

I liked the caterpillar doggie.

The equine photos are like mild laryngitis, just a little horse.

The pedigree is extremely suspect. Most of those locations make zero sense for panoramic shots.

And now I have pictures to illustrate four-dimensionalism.

Thanks, internets!

I'd love one of those mini dogs!

"What breed of dog is that?"

"Miniature Klein Bottle!"

*the sound of a dog barking arrives from - nowhere, apparently...

I'm guessing these are all ganked uncredited from the Panorama Fail tumblr, for which most of the recent entries have been deliberate distortions.

I love that panorama photos do that. It's a feature, not a bug.

If you'd like to see what these might look like animated, let me suggest the Chris Cunningham/Aphex Twin "Rubber Johnny" video.

WARNING: pretty f'ing weird, that thing is.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sequence. The bathroom photo hits the mark for me quite nicely!

Weirdly, I mostly object to showing your baby Silence In The Library. I guess Doctor Who is supposed to be kid friendly, but that episode seems a little too nightmare-fodder.

You'll forgive me if I don't stay around to watch. I just can't cope with the freaky stuff.

Can you add a NSFW tag? I think there might have been a shot of a guy masturbating, and/or various nekkid people who looked a bit... involved. I can't tell for sure because I scrolled hella fast past those while looking over my shoulder to check my boss wasn't watching.

I was just coming to say that, lollusc. The pictures are all safe for work upon examination, but certainly not safe at first glance. You wouldnt want to have to explain to hr that no it wasnt actually a naked man masturbating on a swing, just a weird photo. I dont think they would appreciate it.

Yeah, I was working on code that aligned lots of noisy images to create on that was noise free. Worked great on everything except meat. Silly humans have crazy nonlinear 3D motion that's a bear to correct for. Furthest I got was using some algos normally used to align cancer pics.
