I appreciate this man's passion. Top button stays unbottoned, though. If you're going to affect traditional men's style, you need to go the whole nine yards.
I actually think the fedora is unfairly maligned, because people try to wear it with just anything. It goes well with a suit. But we're in an informal age, and people try to pair it with anything they happen to be wearing, and it feels affected.

Having spent part of my afternoon in a hat shop, I know there are hats for all outfits. A true fedora needs a stepped up game, but you can go casual without resorting to baseball hats.
