Always wondered how tall you are compared to famous celebrities? Wonder no more.

This post was deleted for the following reason: I love you man but this seems to be a pretty transparent clickbait ad for this inserts company and kind of a clunky one to boot. (Ha, "boot".) -- cortex

Interface kind of sucks? Seems like you have to search for and find people to compare to? I just want it to tell me who I'm taller than so I can feel superior to someone famous.

Search UI doesn't work on iPad, and the whole thing is an ad for shoe inserts to make you look taller.

Any time I'm pressed to name a specific celebrity, I always forget the names of every celebrity ever.

So am I right that the site is an advertisement for, basically, shoe inserts that make dudes look taller?

I had to look pretty hard to find a celebrity that I'm taller than, but that's probably because the celebrities skew male. (See above about being an advertisement for thingies that make dudes look taller.) Pat Morita is the same height as me, if neither of us are wearing shoe inserts.

This has almost no actual value if it is relying on celeb-reported (or PR person reported) heights, as all those heights are lies. LIES AND UNTRUTHS.

Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took (2704–2806): The younger son of Isumbras III, Bandobras was known for his exceptionally large stature for a Hobbit (he stood 4' 5"(135 cm) and could ride a horse)
...
Jonah Hill is 5 feet 6.3 inches (168.4 cm) tall.

If you need to feel tall put in Danny DeVito. If you need to feel short put in Andre the Giant.
