Sad that this must be a welcome development: Nail Polish that Changes Color in the Presence of Date Rape Drugs , created by 4 (male) North Carolina State University students. Their Facebook page and web site, Undercover Colors.

The news story makes it appear that the product has been developed, but the wording on the web site and Facebook page make it look more like a "help us fund this idea".

This is a PR gimmick rather than something actually useful. I suspect if it came to fruition (which I doubt) it would do more harm than good.
