Youtube user Papierfliegerei really likes paper airplanes, but all that folding can really get you down. Thankfully, 3D printing technology has finally caught up to the point where his dream of a Paper Airplane Machine Gun can finally be realized. posted by sparklemotion (25 comments total) 33 users marked this as a favorite

He has trouble with paper pickups. See, kids, printers *are* hard.

But that's a very awesome thing with awesome sauce and sprinkles.

The American version will have to have an 8.5 x 11 adapter, we don't have A6 paper over here.

It looks so ferocious, but basically goes "boop" on your nose when it hits you.

I'd be willing to source some socialist eurotrash paper if it meant that I could play with that thing.

I was expecting some kind of supersoaker-looking device that just ejected a stack of premade planes. Holy crap.

The mechanism for folding and throwing the plane looks similar to the one in this video in which a stationary machine folds and flings planes at a recycle bin. The key innovation here is portability, in the event that you have to take down a mobile recycle bin.

Holy moley, it actually folds the planes before it throws them.

World domination will be his.

Small keyboard and inkjet printer on the stock.
Run up and down a suburban street shooting personalized "flyers®" at houses.
Hilarity ensues.

I thought it was going to show that he had made a paper machine gun for a paper plane. Doh!

Nice. Now remove the feeble launcher part. Add an adapter so it can be attached to and fed by my office fax machine's output tray. Middle-man eliminated.

Use seed paper, stand on a tall building, and engage in a kamikaze gardening campaign.

Needs a silencer. Otherwise all the cats will leave the room before you can shoot planes at them.
